Come, let’s walk with God
Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near. Isaiah 55:6
Relationship is a word that has been pigeon-holed. We are only in a relationship with our significant others, and it is always about romantic love. But when we understand it in its broader sense as a term that describes relatedness, then we will see that we are in many more relationships — the relationships with our families, our friends, our colleagues, etc.
In fact, we are all in a relationship with God, too. But defining it and knowing how we should relate to God can be a challenge. Yet this is something we can learn together, through the Word of God. Let us journey together, to grow and deepen our knowledge of what it means to walk with Him in our relationship with God.
Most Christians are likely aware that our relationship with God is important. But how is this relationship defined, and what does a good relationship look like? In this book, we will return to God’s word to realign our understanding of God, ourselves, and our relationship with Him, as we revisit the true meaning of walking with Him and being a member of His Kingdom in this challenging world. If you have ever felt like your Christian faith is disconnected from your life, or you long to grow closer to God, join us on this journey of reflection and renewal to make sense of your faith and deepen your relationship with Him.
When our prayers are unanswered, it is easy to think that God doesn’t care. But in John 11, when Martha and Mary were heartbroken over the death of their brother Lazarus, Jesus wept with them. Read to learn more about the heart of our Savior who empathizes with us.
